Overview

An electric water heater heats and stores water with an electric resistance element, working independently of any combi or central heating. The Omega electric water heater series is made from 200 to 2,000 liters with electrical panels from 5 kW up to 45 kW for industrial and commercial capacity; enamel inner coating and cathodic protection (anode rod) guard against corrosion, and the high-insulated body reduces heat loss.

In an electric water heater the heat source is the resistance element inside the tank, so no separate boiler, combi or solar collector is needed. A thermostat keeps the water at the set temperature. It provides independent, uninterrupted domestic hot water where there is no central heating or when the boiler is switched off, which makes it suitable for facilities with high, continuous hot-water demand.

Electric Water Heater Prices

Electric water heater prices vary by capacity. As of July 2026, based on retail references on n11, the 200-liter model is around 36,500 TL and the 1,000-liter model around 105,000 TL; the cost per liter can be somewhat higher than coil water heaters. Large-scale or industrial projects are priced per project; we offer below-retail pricing on wholesale and project orders.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is an electric water heater?

An electric water heater heats and stores water with an internal electric resistance element, working independently without a boiler or combi. The Omega series is made from 200 to 2,000 liters with 5-45 kW panel options.

How does an electric water heater work?

The resistance element inside the tank heats the water with electricity and a thermostat keeps the set temperature. The high-insulated body reduces heat loss, while enamel inner coating and the anode rod (cathodic protection) guard against corrosion.

When and why is an electric water heater preferred?

It is preferred where there is no central heating or when the boiler is switched off in summer, and independent domestic hot water is needed. It offers 200 to 2,000 liter options for hotels, housing and healthcare facilities with varying capacity needs.

How is an electric water heater installed and connected?

Installation needs both electrical and water connections; the resistance/panel connects to the power line and the tank to the cold water inlet and hot water outlet. Because connection details vary by capacity and building infrastructure, a technical assessment by an authorized installer before mounting is recommended.
